As the Senior Product Manager II for Niesen’s Ad Intelligence product, you will implement the strategic vision and lead the development and execution of Nielsen’s next generation of ad intelligence applications. This is a critical strategic role that will shape the future of Nielsen’s ad intelligence applications, driving innovation and ensuring our product offerings meet the evolving needs of the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement the strategic vision for products within the Nielsen Ad Intelligence applications portfolio, aligning with company goals and market needs.
- Oversee the end-to-end product life cycle, from concept and development to launch and iteration.
- Prioritization of the product roadmap, including a clear understanding of requirements, resources, execution timelines and impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, sales and marketing) to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Identify market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape to inform product strategy.
- Drive innovation in ad intelligence, planning and ads measurement products, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Lead stakeholder communication, including presenting product initiatives and updates to cross-functional leaders and meeting with customers.
- Ensure products are launched on time and within budget, while meeting high-quality standards.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of the Nielsen Ad Intelligence applications.
- Ensure efficient and effective product development processes, including agile methodologies and best practices.
- 8+ years of experience of technical product management with deep technical knowledge of the advertising stack and direct experience building linear, digital, ad intelligence, cross-platform planning & measurement, DSPs, SSPs, Ad servers, Data-Driven Planning, Activation, Programmatic Buying and Measurement solutions in CTV/OTT environments.
- Experience with media sellers, planners, cross-media planners and measurement solutions.
- Experience working with ad intelligence, cross-channel measurement and planning systems across TV, CTV/OTT, and digital platforms.
- Experience with media measurement of international markets desired
- Experience with machine learning applications in ad tech, specifically for data-driven, audience-based planning, targeting and activation.
- In-depth industry knowledge and experience with digital advertising standards and protocols, particularly in CTV and OTT, and familiarity with industry standards
- Experience building 0-to-1 products, leading client discovery, executing test and learn research and adjusting product build direction due to changes in priorities and new information.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated success in driving product innovation and managing complex portfolios.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
