About the role:
PayZapp Studio is a strategic partnership between Zeta and HDFC bank with the mission to build digital banking experiences and payment experiences completely from scratch. PayZapp Studiowill serve the bank’s 40mn+ consumers and drive growth to double the base in the next 5 years. To achieve this, we’ve reimagined payment
experiences completely from the ground up. With a customer-first philosophy, fortnightly releases and a modern intuitive mobile
app, we are building an experience that will revolutionize banking in India. Join us to re-define this age-old industry.

The PayZapp Studio team is powering a modern payment App which supercharges the customer experience exploiting powers which only an issuing bank can exercise and capabilities of a super flexible Tachyon Platform. The modern payment app also enables a series of digital first, modern Credit Card programs targeted initially towards
digital savvy & Millennial audiences.

Responsibilities

    • End to end responsibility for a core PayZapp payments product’s mobile app experience.
    • Responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to ideate, create and launch customer acquisition channels.
    • Define a roadmap to scale a modern payments mobile app for a multi fold increase in user traffic, data and compute requirements.
    • Own mobile app performance metrics and help the engineering teams evaluate mobile app frameworks and app scaling techniques to optimize for end user experience.
    • Experiment and iterate on onboarding efficiencies. Collaborate and contribute to commercial success of user acquisition programs.
    • Own communication and stakeholder management for Product & Delivery excellence for programs mentioned above.

Skills

    • Strong product design experience and a fanatical approach to customer experience.
    • Written code in your past life or understand engineering nuances very well
    • High on ownership & teamwork and enjoys hustling
    • Demonstrated ability of achievement in at least one of academic profession or personal endeavours

Experience & Qualifications

    • 5+ yrs of total experience in a product role, overall 8-10 years
    • 3+ yrs of experience in shipping successful B2C mobile products
    • Prior experience in fintech or banking will be a plus. Any prior working knowledge of UPI or Card protocols will be a bonus.
    • BE/BTech from any reputed engineering institutions, computer science engineering would be preferred.
    • Any management degree from a Tier 1/2 institute would be a plus.
