Your key responsibilities:
Market Research & Customer Interface
- Collaborate closely with product leadership to gain a deep understanding of market trends, business strategy, and the needs of key customer segments.
- Design and develop useful, usable, and profitable product solutions to achieve financial targets for the global Conversational Marketing business.
- Work with prospective customers and sales teams on opportunity analysis, proposal development, and bids to address specific customer requirements.
- Understand the local competitive landscape and devise strategies to execute and meet customer needs across global markets.
- Lead internal product integrations (various channels) and external connectors with leading CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze) to boost adoption.
Product Life Cycle Management
- Define and justify new products by analyzing potential solutions, including product structures, pricing scenarios, and unique differentiators.
- Negotiate feature content for Notify and Engage use cases with development engineering, operations, marketing, and product management peers.
- Lead critical cross-functional initiatives for product development and launch across channels like WhatsApp, RCS, SMS, and Email.
- Develop or contribute to significant product collateral, including white papers, blogs, demo videos, and case studies.
- Develop or contribute to significant product collateral, including FAQ documentation, user guides, and customer success stories.
Go-to-Market & Revenue Generation Support
- Develop and implement product-specific go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Business Operations.
- Work with leadership to establish partnership strategies with resellers, system integrators, and complementary technology providers.
- Define optimal product packaging, pricing, and positioning, and conduct training sessions for internal teams and customers to ensure successful adoption.
What you'll bring
- Computer Science degree or similar technical qualifications with advanced proficiency in the technical aspects of product design, development, and application.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering and executing a product vision in a high-technology setting, preferably within Conversational Marketing or CPaaS space.
- Stellar inbound product management skills with the ability to effectively project manage and execute.
- Proficiency in outbound product management skills and data-driven analytical skills.
- Ability to gather customer requirements and identify underlying business problems to develop solutions for complex technical and process issues.
- Experience working across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- 6+ years of Product Management experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Comprehensive understanding of API product management. Knowledge of Gen AI, messaging channels (including OTT), or CPaaS products is a plus
Experience we consider a plus:
- Experience with Agile methodologies & tools (e.g. Scaled Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
- Experience using Jira, Confluence and project management tools
- Background in CPaaS and knowledge of technical concepts such as Flow builder or Journey builder
