Job Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic Associate Product Manager with 1–3 years of experience to support the development, launch, and lifecycle management of our personal care product portfolio. In this role, you will play a key part in spotting market trends, analysing consumer needs, and identifying product opportunities—then helping transform those insights into successful product launches. Working closely with R&D, marketing, regulatory, and manufacturing teams, you’ll contribute to driving innovation while ensuring every product reflects our brand values, quality benchmarks, and business goals.
Roles
- Manage and grow assigned product lines.
- Research and analyse trends, competitor activity, and evolving consumer behaviour in the beauty and personal care market.
- Contribute to new product development (NPD) by coordinating with R&D and marketing.
- Ensure product claims, ingredients, and labelling comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Track product performance and recommend improvements or discontinuation when needed.
Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Planning
- Maintain product roadmaps aligned with brand and business goals.
- Identify white space opportunities in formulations, categories, or packaging.
- Track emerging market trends (sustainability, clean beauty, natural ingredients).
2. New Product Development (NPD)
- Collaborate with R&D on developing innovative and effective formulations.
- Work with packaging and design teams to deliver functional and sustainable packaging solutions.
3. Marketing & Go-to-Market Execution
- Partner with marketing to define positioning, pricing, and launch campaigns.
- Provide sales and marketing teams with product knowledge and training.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and refine strategies as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of product management experience in a marketing agency, startup, or new-age company.
- Strongly preferred: Background in beauty, skincare, or personal care industries.
Skills
- Strong grasp of consumer trends and product innovation.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
